VerseKJV 1769 TextKJV YHWH TextRV 1602 TextAncient Text
Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down. Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.Y Booz subió a la puerta y se sentó allí: y he aquí pasaba aquel redentor del cual Booz había hablado, y le dijo: Eh, fulano, ven acá y siéntate. Y él vino, y se sentó.
And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down. And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down.
And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech's: And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which our brother Elimelech's:Y dijo al redentor: Una parte de las tierras que tuvo nuestro hermano Elimelec, vendió Noemí, la que volvió del campo de Moab;
And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem, redeem: but if thou wilt not redeem tell me, that I may know: for none to redeem beside thee; and I after thee.
Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance. Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.
And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it. And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem.Y respondió el redentor: No puedo redimir a mi provecho; porque por ventura echaría a perder mi heredad; redime tú, yo te traspaso mi derecho, porque yo no podré redimir.
Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel. Now this in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave to his neighbour: and this a testimony in Israel.
Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe. Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy for thee. So he drew off his shoe.Entonces el pariente dijo a Booz: Tómalo tú. Y diciendo esto descalzó su zapato.
And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech's, and all that was Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi. And Boaz said unto the elders, and all the people, Ye witnesses this day, that I have bought all that Elimelech's, and all that Chilion's and Mahlon's, of the hand of Naomi.Y Booz dijo a los ancianos y a todo el pueblo: Vosotros seréis hoy testigos de como tomo todas las cosas que fueron de Elimelec, y todo lo que fue de Quelión y de Mahlón, de mano de Noemí.
Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day. Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye witnesses this day.Y que también tomo por mi mujer a Rut la moabita, mujer de Mahlón, para que yo levante el nombre del difunto sobre su heredad, para que el nombre del muerto no se pierda de entre sus hermanos y de la puerta (o congregación) de su lugar. Vosotros seréis hoy testigos.
And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem: And all the people that in the gate, and the elders, said, witnesses. יְהוָ֥ה make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Beth-lehem:Y dijeron todos los del pueblo que estaban a la puerta con los ancianos: Testigos somos. El SEÑOR haga a la mujer que entra en tu casa como a Raquel y a Lea, las cuales dos edificaron la casa de Israel; y tú seas ilustre en Efrata, y tengas nombradía en Belén;
And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman. And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which יְהוָ֥ה shall give thee of this young woman.tu casa sea como la casa de Fares, al que Tamar dio a luz a Judá, de la simiente que el SEÑOR te diere de esta joven.
So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son. So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, יְהוָ֥ה gave her conception, and she bare a son.Y así Booz tomó a Rut, y ella fue su mujer; y luego que entró a ella, el SEÑOR le dio que concibiese y diese a luz un hijo.
And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed יְהוָ֥ה, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.Y las mujeres decían a Noemí: Loado sea el SEÑOR, que hizo que no te faltase redentor hoy, cuyo nombre será nombrado en Israel.
And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.
And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.Y tomando Noemí el hijo, lo puso en su regazo, y fue su aya.
And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David. And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he the father of Jesse, the father of David.Y las vecinas le pusieron nombre diciendo: a Noemí ha nacido un hijo; y le llamaron Obed.
Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron, Now these the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,Y éstas son las generaciones de Fares: Fares engendró a Hezrón;
And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab, And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,y Hezrón engendró a Ram, y Ram engendró a Aminadab;
And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon, And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,y Aminadab engendró a Naasón, y Naasón engendró a Salmón;
And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed, And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,Y Salmón engendró a Booz, y Booz engendró a Obed;
And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David. And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.y Obed engendró a Isaí, e Isaí engendró a David.
