VerseKJV 1769 TextKJV YHWH TextRV 1602 TextAncient Text
My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons. My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, of glory, with respect of persons.Hermanos míos, no tengáis la fe de nuestro Señor Jesús, el Cristo glorioso, en acepción de personas.Ἀδελφοί μου μὴ ἐν προσωποληψίαις ἔχετε τὴν πίστιν τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τῆς δόξης
For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;Porque si en vuestra reunión entra algún varón que trae anillo de oro, vestido de preciosa ropa, y también entra un pobre vestido de vestidura vilἐὰν γὰρ εἰσέλθῃ εἰς τήν συναγωγὴν ὑμῶν ἀνὴρ χρυσοδακτύλιος ἐν ἐσθῆτι λαμπρᾷ εἰσέλθῃ δὲ καὶ πτωχὸς ἐν ῥυπαρᾷ ἐσθῆτι
And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:y tuviereis respeto al que trae la vestidura preciosa, y le dijereis: Siéntate tú aquí bien; y dijereis al pobre: Estate tú allí en pie, o siéntate aquí debajo de mi estrado;καὶ ἐπιβλέψητε ἐπὶ τὸν φοροῦντα τὴν ἐσθῆτα τὴν λαμπρὰν καὶ εἴπητε αὐτῷ, Σὺ κάθου ὧδε καλῶς καὶ τῷ πτωχῷ εἴπητε Σὺ στῆθι ἐκεῖ ἢ κάθου ὧδε ὑπὸ τὸ ὑποπόδιόν μου
Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?¿vosotros no juzgáis en vosotros mismos, y sois hechos jueces de pensamientos malos?καὶ οὐ διεκρίθητε ἐν ἑαυτοῖς καὶ ἐγένεσθε κριταὶ διαλογισμῶν πονηρῶν
Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not Elohim chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?Hermanos míos amados, oíd: ¿No ha elegido Dios los pobres de este mundo, para que sean ricos en fe, y herederos del Reino que prometió a los que le aman?Ἀκούσατε ἀδελφοί μου ἀγαπητοί· οὐχ ὁ θεὸς ἐξελέξατο τοὺς πτωχοὺς τοῦ κόσμου τούτου, πλουσίους ἐν πίστει καὶ κληρονόμους τῆς βασιλείας ἡς ἐπηγγείλατο τοῖς ἀγαπῶσιν αὐτόν
But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?Mas vosotros habéis afrentado al pobre. ¿No os oprimen los ricos con tiranía, y ellos os llevan con violencia a los juzgados?ὑμεῖς δὲ ἠτιμάσατε τὸν πτωχόν οὐχ οἱ πλούσιοι καταδυναστεύουσιν ὑμῶν καὶ αὐτοὶ ἕλκουσιν ὑμᾶς εἰς κριτήρια
Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?¿No blasfeman ellos el buen nombre que es invocado sobre vosotros?οὐκ αὐτοὶ βλασφημοῦσιν τὸ καλὸν ὄνομα τὸ ἐπικληθὲν ἐφ' ὑμᾶς
If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:Si en verdad cumplís vosotros la ley real, conforme a la Escritura: Amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo, bien hacéis;εἰ μέντοι νόμον τελεῖτε βασιλικὸν κατὰ τὴν γραφήν Ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν καλῶς ποιεῖτε·
But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.pero si hacéis acepción de personas, cometéis pecado, y sois acusados de la ley como rebeldes.εἰ δὲ προσωποληπτεῖτε, ἁμαρτίαν ἐργάζεσθε ἐλεγχόμενοι ὑπὸ τοῦ νόμου ὡς παραβάται
For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one, he is guilty of all.
For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.Porque juicio sin misericordia será hecho con aquel que no hiciere misericordia; y la misericordia se gloría contra el juicio.ἡ γὰρ κρίσις ἀνίλεως τῷ μὴ ποιήσαντι ἔλεος· καὶ κατακαυχᾶται ἔλεος κρίσεως
What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? What profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,Y si el hermano o la hermana están desnudos, y tienen necesidad del mantenimiento de cada díaἐὰν δὲ ἀδελφὸς ἢ ἀδελφὴ γυμνοὶ ὑπάρχωσιν καὶ λειπόμενοι ὦσιν τῆς ἐφημέρου τροφῆς
And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what profit?y alguno de vosotros les dice: Id en paz, calentaos y saciaos, pero no les diereis las cosas que son necesarias para el cuerpo, ¿qué les aprovechará?εἴπῃ δέ τις αὐτοῖς ἐξ ὑμῶν Ὑπάγετε ἐν εἰρήνῃ θερμαίνεσθε καὶ χορτάζεσθε μὴ δῶτε δὲ αὐτοῖς τὰ ἐπιτήδεια τοῦ σώματος τί τὸ ὄφελος
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.Así también la fe, si no tuviere las obras, es muerta en sí misma.οὕτως καὶ ἡ πίστις ἐὰν μὴ ἔργα ἔχῃ νεκρά ἐστιν καθ' ἑαυτήν
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. Thou believest that there is one Elohim; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.Tú crees que Dios es uno; bien haces.
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?¿Mas oh hombre vano, quieres saber que la fe sin obras es muerta?θέλεις δὲ γνῶναι ὦ ἄνθρωπε κενέ ὅτι ἡ πίστις χωρὶς τῶν ἔργων νεκρά ἐστιν
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?¿No fue justificado por las obras Abraham nuestro Padre, cuando ofreció a su hijo Isaac sobre el altar?Ἀβραὰμ ὁ πατὴρ ἡμῶν οὐκ ἐξ ἔργων ἐδικαιώθη ἀνενέγκας Ἰσαὰκ τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον
Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?¿No ves que la fe obró con sus obras, y que la fe fue perfecta por las obras?βλέπεις ὅτι ἡ πίστις συνήργει τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἔργων ἡ πίστις ἐτελειώθη
And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed Elohim, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of Elohim.¿Y que la Escritura fue cumplida, que dice: Abraham creyó a Dios, y le fue imputado a justicia, y fue llamado amigo de Dios?καὶ ἐπληρώθη ἡ γραφὴ ἡ λέγουσα Ἐπίστευσεν δὲ Ἀβραὰμ τῷ θεῷ καὶ ἐλογίσθη αὐτῷ εἰς δικαιοσύνην καὶ φίλος θεοῦ ἐκλήθη
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.Vosotros veis, pues, que el hombre es justificado por las obras, y no solamente por la fe.ὁρᾶτε τοίνυν ὅτι ἐξ ἔργων δικαιοῦται ἄνθρωπος καὶ οὐκ ἐκ πίστεως μόνον
Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent out another way?Asimismo también Rahab la ramera, ¿no fue justificada por obras, cuando recibió los mensajeros, y los echó fuera por otro camino?ὁμοίως δὲ καὶ Ῥαὰβ ἡ πόρνη οὐκ ἐξ ἔργων ἐδικαιώθη ὑποδεξαμένη τοὺς ἀγγέλους καὶ ἑτέρᾳ ὁδῷ ἐκβαλοῦσα
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
