And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And on the seventh day Elohim ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.Y acabó Dios en el día séptimo su obra que hizo, y reposó el día séptimo de toda su obra que había hecho.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. And Elohim blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Elohim created and made.Y bendijo Dios al día séptimo, y lo santificó, porque en él reposó de toda su obra que había creado Dios en perfección.
These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, These the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that יְהוָ֥ה Elohim made the earth and the heavens,Estos son los orígenes de los cielos y de la tierra cuando fueron creados, el día que el SEÑOR Dios hizo la tierra y los cielos
And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for יְהוָ֥ה Elohim had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and not a man to till the ground.y toda planta del campo antes que fuese en la tierra, y toda hierba del campo antes que naciese; porque el SEÑOR Dios aún no había hecho llover sobre la tierra, ni aun había hombre para que labrase la tierra;
But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.Y un vapor subía de la tierra, que regaba toda la faz de la tierra.
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And יְהוָ֥ה Elohim formed man the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.Formó, pues, El SEÑOR Dios al hombre del polvo de la tierra, y sopló en su nariz el aliento de vida; y fue el hombre un alma viviente.
And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And יְהוָ֥ה Elohim planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.Y había plantado el SEÑOR Dios un huerto en Edén al oriente, y puso allí al hombre que formó.
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And out of the ground made יְהוָ֥ה Elohim to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.Había también hecho producir el SEÑOR Dios de la tierra todo árbol deseable a la vista, y bueno para comer, y el árbol de vida en medio del huerto, y el árbol de la ciencia del bien y del mal.
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. 12And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. And the gold of that land good: there bdellium and the onyx stone.y el oro de aquella tierra es bueno; hay allí también bedelio y piedra cornerina.

And the fourth river Euphrates.Y el nombre del tercer río es Hidekel; éste es el que va hacia el oriente de Asiria. Y el cuarto río es el Eufrates.

And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: And יְהוָ֥ה Elohim commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:Y mandó el SEÑOR Dios al hombre, diciendo: De todo árbol del huerto comerás;
But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.mas del árbol de la ciencia del bien y del mal, no comerás de él; porque el día que de él comieres, morirás.
And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help             meet for him. And יְהוָ֥ה Elohim said, not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help             meet for him.Y dijo el SEÑOR Dios: No es bueno que el hombre esté solo; le haré ayuda que esté delante de él.
And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 24Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.Por tanto, el varón dejará a su padre y a su madre, y se allegará a su mujer, y serán por una carne.
And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.Y estaban ambos desnudos, Adán y su mujer, y no se avergonzaban.
